Bubbapalooza is coming our way, and we have the Pittsburgh Steelers to thank for it.
In January, syndicated radio host Bubba the Love Sponge told listeners he would bring his Bubbapalooza live show for free to the city whose Football team won the national championship.
The live Bubbapalooza comedy show will land in Steelers country at 9 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg.
Bubba the Love Sponge hosts a top-rated syndicated morning show that airs in Tampa, Miami and other cities, and on Sirius XM Radio. Bubbapalooza will feature co-hosts Bubba, Ned, Brent Hatley, Manson and Spiceboy, plus show regulars and comedy bits.
They're giving away 970 free tickets to listeners through an on-air promotion. In addition, 350 VIP tickets are for sale for $49.95, and these include a pre-show meet-and-greet. Tickets, on sale today, are available through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com), the Palace Theatre box office (724-836-8000), its Web site (www.thepalacetheatre.org) and the Bubba the Love Sponge site (www.btls.com).

Legendary bandleader Benny Goodman would have been 100 on May 30. To mark the event, WDUQ-FM (90.5) is presenting "Benny Goodman: A Centennial Celebration" -- a look at the life and music of the late clarinetist/bandleader.
WDUQ jazz host Bob Studebaker produced the special, which is hosted by Mike Plaskett and Dale Abraham of the syndicated "Rhythm Sweet and Hot," which airs on WDUQ.
"Benny Goodman: A Centennial Celebration" airs at 9 p.m. tomorrow, 9 a.m. May 25 and 7 p.m. May 29.
