Pro Bowl outside linebacker James Harrison was named the Steelers most valuable player Wednesday for the second consecutive year in a vote by the players.
Harrison, who will start for the AFC in this year's Pro Bowl, has recorded a franchise-record 16 sacks this season.
Harrison leads the NFL this season with seven forced fumbles, which is tied for the most for a Steelers player since the free agency era (1992-2008).
He's also considered a favorite to win the NFL's top defensive player award and has an outside chance to be named league MVP.
