Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel, who suffered a MCL sprain in his knee in last week's win against Cincinnati, will miss Sunday's game at New England and could be out for an extended period of time.
In addition to the New England game, Keisel will be sidelined "of course a couple of weeks surely to follow," coach Mike Tomlin said today at his weekly news conference. "We'll take it week to week with him."
Running back Willie Parker, who left the Cincinnati game with inflamation in his knee, is questionable for Sunday, as is cornerback Bryant McFadden, who has missed five games with a broken forearm.
Cornerback Deshea Townsend is expected to miss his third consecutive game with a hamstring injury, and tackle Marvel Smith (back) will miss his seventh consecutive game.
Receiver Santonio Holmes, who suffered a concussion against Cincinnati, should be able to play against New England, Tomlin said.
