RAVENS REPORT

RAVENS REPORT
HIGH FIVE: The Ravens' defense forced five turnovers (four interceptions and one fumble), which led to two touchdowns. The Dolphins tied an NFL record for fewest giveaways in a season with 13, but Miami quarterback Chad Pennington threw four interceptions in three quarters after getting picked off seven times in 16 regular-season games.

REED RUNBACK: Safety Ed Reed broke a tie at 3 in the second quarter when he returned an interception 64 yards for a touchdown - the longest defensive score in Ravens postseason history. It was Reed's 12th career touchdown but his first in the postseason.

FLACCO MAKES HISTORY: Joe Flacco (left) became the first rookie quarterback to win his first playoff game on the road since the 1970 merger. He was only 9-for-23 for 135 yards, but his 5-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter sealed the victory.

DROUGHT ENDS: This marked the Ravens' first playoff win since January 2002 - which also happened to come at Miami. The seven-year postseason victory drought had been the ninth-longest active in the NFL.

THEY SAID IT: "Here we come. Here come the Ravens. The team you don't want to see." - Reed, after winning the first playoff game of his seven-year career.

COMING ATTRACTION: After becoming the first sixth seed to win since the 2005 season, the Ravens advance to the AFC divisional round, where they will play at the top-seeded Tennessee Titans on Saturday. On Oct. 5, the Ravens lost to the Titans, 13-10, when Kerry Collins threw a game-winning 11-yard touchdown to Alge Crumpler with 1:56 left.
